The spirit of generosity on the auspicious occasion of Eid-al-Adha came to the fore as BON’s little ones enjoyed their field trip and distributed almost 200 care-packages for laborers in Dubai. The care-packages were packed and distributed by BON children with the aim of spreading smiles on the joyous occasion of Eid!
The packages were distributed to construction workers and included calling cards, caps, hygiene products, dates, fruits water, and other hydrating drinks. The laborers expressed their gratitude to the children and were especially ecstatic to receive calling cards and to be able to speak to their loved ones back at home!
“Living away from families on a joyous occasion like Eid can be quite difficult. The Eid gifts were little tokens from the BON children to appreciate the hard work laborers put into their jobs,” said Dr Vandana Gandhi, Founder and CEO of British Orchard Nursery, adding, “Educational institutions are more than a place where academics is taught.
