Diwali: The Festival Of Lights

BON celebrates Hindu Festival of lights. We acknowledge a variety of festivals and events throughout the year to teach children about the different cultures and celebrations that take place around the world. Understanding the world is one of the areas of learning that we follow in the EYFS which is based on 3 aspects People and communities; the world and the technology. Children enjoyed painting Diya's with colorful paint and glitter. All children came to school dressed in traditional Indian attire. A fun and colorful day!
